ASEV Honors Past President and Winemaker Dennis Martin with Memorial Scholarship for Enology Students

ASEV mourns the loss of Dennis ‘Denny’ Martin of Healdsburg, California, who passed away on August 13, 2017, from prostate cancer. He was a winemaker for Fetzer Vineyards for three decades, a sought-after wine judge for competitions throughout the country, and ASEV past president in 2001-2002.

As a tribute to his legacy, ASEV and its board members announced the Dennis Martin Enology Memorial Scholarship that will award a top enology student annually, starting in the academic year 2018/2019. We thank those in the industry that supported the scholarship by contributing monetary gifts. Additional contributions are welcome. Please contact us if you are interested.
