Approved by the ASEV Board of Directors on January 19, 2021.
Diversity

The American Society for Enology and Viticulture is committed to creating a fair, safe, and flexible environment which embraces tolerance and fosters inclusion. We celebrate the myriad of perspectives and contributions that each individual brings to our Society. Diversity, equity, and inclusion fuel our innovation and enriches our community.

Our diversity encompasses differences in ethnicity, gender, language, age, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, physical and mental ability, thinking styles, experience, and education. We believe that the wide array of perspectives that results from such diversity makes us more creative, flexible, productive, and competitive.

Accordingly, ASEV prohibits intimidating, threatening, or harassing conduct at any time at all other ASEV sponsored activities. This policy applies to speakers, staff, venue staff, service providers, exhibitors, volunteers and attendees. Anyone violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from conferences, events or other activities, at the sole discretion of ASEV leadership.
