Job Description:
Primary teaching responsibilities include day & evening classes in the Viticulture and Wine Technology program. Introduction to Wines and Vines (VIT 100), Introduction to Enology Lab Techniques (VIT 115), Enology I and II (VIT 210 and 215), Summer Vineyard Technology Practicum (VIT 110), Vineyard Management (VIT 200), Fall Wine Technology Practicum (VIT 205).
The Environmental Conservation and Horticulture Department is a team of invested instructors who are passionate about empowering students with the tools needed for success in a conservation field.
Education:
MS degree required in Enology and or related field (e.g. Viticulture, Wine making)
Experience:
Teaching/ professional experience highly desired. Demonstrated ability to create a positive learning atmosphere required. College-level teaching experience & experience working collaboratively to develop engaging course curriculum preferred. Professional experience in the wine industry will be considered for this technical field.
