New Author Contribution Requirements Coming to AJEV in 2026

The American Journal of Enology and Viticulture (AJEV) is introducing the CRediT system to identify author roles or contributions for submitted manuscripts. As of January 2026, the AJEV submission process in Editorial Manager requires submitting authors to select Contributor Roles for each individual identified as an author of the submission. The Contributor Role options are generated from the CRediT taxonomy, a classification standard used to ensure that authors are credited for their contributions toward published scholarly works. ASEV and ASEV-ES invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at the joint 77th ASEV National Conference and 50th ASEV Eastern Section Annual Conference by February 10, 2026. The joint conference will be held June 15-18, 2026, in Boise, Idaho. Submissions reporting original research or research updates across all areas of viticulture and enology are welcome.
