New Author Contribution Requirements Coming to AJEV in 2026

The American Journal of Enology and Viticulture (AJEV) is introducing the CRediT system to identify author roles or contributions for submitted manuscripts. As of January 2026, the AJEV submission process in Editorial Manager requires submitting authors to select Contributor Roles for each individual identified as an author of the submission. The Contributor Role options are generated from the CRediT taxonomy, a classification standard used to ensure that authors are credited for their contributions toward published scholarly works. Each author’s Contributor Role will be listed in work published in AJEV. Please visit http://credit.niso.org for more information.
