The entire ASEV joins in expressing our sympathies to the family of Dr. Anita Oberholster, who passed away Saturday, January 11, after a long battle with cancer. A professor of Cooperative Extension in Enology at the University of California, Davis, Anita was a long-time ASEV board member, a founding board member of the American Society for Enology and Viticulture Foundation, and was currently serving as a member of the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, LLC Managing Committee.
