Job Description:

Franklin Hill Vineyards is looking for a qualified winemaker to join our growing production demands. Located on a beautiful farm in eastern Pennsylvania, Franklin Hill has 16 acres of grapes and a state-of-the-art winery facility. This is a fun and exciting position available immediately to the right applicant. This is a full-time position offering a competitive wage. All applicants will be considered.

Requirements:

The applicant must possess a strong work ethic, ability to collaborate with a team, and enjoy working both indoors and outdoors. From the grape growing to the tasting room, this position enjoys the full winery experience. The position will include sanitation, safety, fruit projections, receiving fruit, fermentation, aging, blending, bottling, etc. The wine maker must enjoy working with other departments to collaborate with all aspects of the winery and vineyard. The applicant must have experience in chemistry to conduct lab analyses. Tasting, analyzing, and assessing batches as well as perform problem solving daily. The ideal applicant would possess a degree in enology, viticulture, or related field. Experience in wine, beer, spirits is preferred, but other food science experience will be considered.
