Job Description:

Under the direction of the supervisor, serve as primary programmatic aide for the Viticulture and Enology Extension Program including on- and off-campus events. Responsible for providing high level assistance to the outreach and extension team including organizing events and providing logistical support; developing, monitoring, and evaluating extension and outreach programs; and summarizing, creating, and disseminating informational literature in coordination with department extension team. Organize, coordinate, plan and/or promote conferences, seminars and workshops, including program development, in conjunction with supervisor and extension team and other faculty. Under direct supervision, responsible for providing assistance in on-line and distance education programming for the department and for assisting clientele in accessing and using web-based materials and programs. Will assist in the development of new electronic resources for the departmental website and will work to keep on-line information up to date. Will promote the department as the premier source of knowledge for the wine industry.
