Renowned viticulture scientist Dr. Markus Keller will deliver the 2025 ASEV Honorary Research Lecture, “Simply Water: H₂O and Prejudice,” on June 18 at the ASEV National Conference in Monterey. Known globally for his expertise in grapevine physiology, Dr. Keller will explore the science of water in viticulture—from how it moves through the vine to its impact on yield and fruit quality.
A distinguished professor at Washington State University and author of The Science of Grapevines, Dr. Keller brings more than 30 years of pioneering research to this highly anticipated lecture. His work continues to inform the industry about drought resilience, vineyard sustainability and best practices for grape production around the world.
