Invasive Species Response: Lessons from the European Grapevine Moth Collaborative Program
Description: The first detection of the European grapevine moth in California in fall 2009 triggered a regulatory, research and management program that ultimately resulted in eradication of this insect from the Unified States. Lessons learned through the development and delivery of the model program could be applied in other contexts, where growers, regulators and academics are dealing with an invasive species response.
Speaker: Monica Cooper, University of California, Cooperative Extension, Napa County
