The Midwest Grape and Wine Industry Institute at Iowa State University is seeking to fill an Assistant Scientist III position focused on advanced analytical wine chemistry. This position will operate and promote wine lab services; design, and implement research experiments; maintain equipment; conduct, support and supervise ongoing projects and laboratory personnel; serve as an instructor for workshops and short courses; apply knowledge of fermentation sciences, microbiology, and analytical chemistry for the advancement of the for the Midwest wine region. The associate will also have the opportunity to produce scholarly information to be published in peer-reviewed journals, and seek external funding to support research.
