Assistant/Associate/ or Full Professor (100 % Extension).

This is an Applied Research and Extension Outreach position that will cover Wasco and Hood River region, with the primary office located in The Dalles, Oregon. The incumbent will develop nationally and internationally recognized Extension program that integrates applied research and outreach programs to meet the commercial needs of the sweet cherry and pear production industries. He/she will facilitate effective communication with key stakeholders and increase support for Extension and Agricultural programs as well as provide support and collaborate with faculty and partners to support other perennial fruit crops, including grapes and blueberries.

This position requires a Ph.D. in Horticulture, Soil Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Crop Science or closely related field and must have experience in conducting applied research, teamwork, communication skills and adult education.
