The Oregon State University’s Southern Oregon Research & Extension Center (SOREC) invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term Faculty Research Assistant position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Director. This position is located in Central Point, OR.

The purpose of this position is to assist the research viticulturalist in conducting research in the area of commercial horticulture. The focus of this work is on improving vineyard management and practices that have an impact in commercial vineyards and wines being produced in Southern Oregon. Travel is required across Jackson, Josephine, and Douglas counties to research sites and off-site locations for project meetings with growers or vineyard managers.
