Nitrogen’s nutritional implications are recognized as essential components for making fine wines. Twenty-four years after its first symposium on this topic, ASEV will use the 66th National Conference to re-address this relevant, complex topic. A distinguished group of international wine and grape scientists, winegrowers and winemakers will discuss the practical aspects of nitrogen in grapes and wine. They will provide an interactive hands-on overview of nitrogen’s implications from the vineyards to wine making.
Serving as a platform for future research, four themed sessions will provide applicable science-based information for vineyard managers and winemakers. Wine tastings will also be available.
